Early Learning Center Group Leader/Lead Teacher

Crispus Attucks Association is accepting applications for a full-time Group leader/Lead Teacher for the Early Learning Center. Benefits available after successful 90-day probation period. Required Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college including 30 credit hours in the above fields, and 1 year of experience with children OR Associate’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field, and 2 years of experience with children OR Associate’s degree from an accredited college including 30 credit hours in the above fields, and 3 years of experience with children.

Must pass pre-employment exam including physical, TB test and drug screen required. Must have a current PA License to transport children to local schools. Required State Police, Child Abuse, FBI Criminal Background check, pre-employment exam includes a physical, TB test and Drug screen. Hourly rate of pay based on budget for the year. Maintenance Technician

The Crispus Attucks Association is accepting applications for an entry-level Maintenance Technician.  Part time to start with opportunity to advance to full time.  Interested candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to repair, maintain, and rehabilitate real estate.  Working under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the candidate must be capable of working independently and with a crew.  Must pass a pre-employment physical exam and required within 30 days of employment: all clearances including  Criminal Background and Child Abuse History.  To apply send a resume to the HR Department, Crispus Attucks Association, 605 S Duke St, York, PA 17401, fax to (717) 843-3914, or send documents as attachments to Debra Kopecki at dkopecki@crispusattucks.org. Construction Assistant

Crispus Attucks Charter School is accepting applications for a full-time Construction Assistant for the 2016-2017 school year. Interested candidates must have a high school diploma and must have extensive knowledge and experience in rough framing, carpentry trim, drywall installation, and painting. Working under the supervision of the Construction Manager with of a crew of up to 12 youth ages 17 to 21 while doing housing rehab will be required. Participation in various aspects of school programs required.
