Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Crispus Attucks York not only reached our Give Local York goal, but exceeded it, raising $22,605 from 100 generous donors in just 24 hours. This milestone is a powerful reflection of what happens when York comes together to invest in opportunity, education, and the future of our youth. As we celebrate 95 years of service, this moment reminds us that our legacy continues to grow through each and every one of you. Crispus Attucks York proudly hosted its 95th Annual Meeting, bringing together community leaders, board members, staff, and supporters to reflect on the organization’s continued impact and future direction.

Founded in 1931, Crispus Attucks York has grown from a small community center into a dynamic organization serving thousands of individuals annually through programs such as:
EARLY LEARNING
CENTER
Nationally accredited childcare for children ages 3 months to 12 years with a strong emphasis on school-readiness preparation
RISING STARS
After-school and summer enrichment program focused on education, recreation and social responsibility for youth ages 5 to 18
CHARTER SCHOOL
YouthBuild-affiliated high school diploma program incorporating hands-on job training for youth ages 17 to 20
EMPLOYMENT &
TRAINING
Training, education, counseling and job placement services for youth and adults
ACTIVE LIVING
CENTER
Educational, nutritional, social, and recreational activities for older adults ages 60 and above
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Provides safe, quality housing for low income York residents. Brings new possibilities to the community by renovating buildings for use by local businesses
