What an incredible way to celebrate our 2026 Crispus Attucks York STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Ambassadors Program Community Showcase at our new Crispus Attucks York History & Culture Center! We are so proud of our scholars and all they accomplished throughout the 6-week summer program. Our scholars delivered creative and informative presentations that showcased their hard work, knowledge, and innovation. From phone questionnaires that got the audience engaged to artistic, multilayered projects, our scholars found unique ways to share what they learned and bring their ideas to life!

Crispus Attucks York HCC Wins Downtown First Award
Big news! The Crispus Attucks History & Culture Center has won the 2026 Downtown First Cultural Catalyst award, presented Thursday, August 13th at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts, where we stood out among three finalists. Along with the award, we received a State House certificate and a State Senate proclamation, all of which will soon be on display at the HCC.SERVICES WE PROVIDE IN OUR COMMUNITY
Founded in 1931, Crispus Attucks York has grown from a small community center into a dynamic organization serving thousands of individuals annually through programs such as:

Nationally accredited childcare for children ages 3 months to 12 years with a strong emphasis on school-readiness preparation

After-school and summer enrichment program focused on education, recreation and social responsibility for youth ages 5 to 18
