Crispus Attucks York (CAY) will host its 40th Annual MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 17, 2022. The event will take place virtually via Zoom beginning at 9:45 AM and will highlight a panel of youth speaking on the theme “A Time to Break Silence,” inspired by the name of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s April 4, 1967, speech. Featured panelists will include members of the Panther Anti-Racist Union, a youth organization focused on spreading awareness of issues of racism and social injustice within the Central York School District and beyond: Edha Gupta, Christina Ellis, Olivia Pituch, and Renee Ellis. The event will be moderated by CAY’s Employment & Training Center Director and member of the Confronting Racism Coalition, Michael Jefferson.

You can join the Zoom meeting through the meeting ID of 478 270 9729. The event will also be live streamed through Facebook.

If you are able to participate in a service project, we encourage wearing masks, social distancing, and abiding by all safety protocols.
