A Huge Success! CAY ETC Codorus Corridor Summer Enrichment Program (CCSEP)
On August 16th, our CAY Codorus Corridor Summer Enrichment Program (CCSEP) held its Cohort Presentation / Graduation Ceremony at Logos Academy! Funded, in part, by the York County Community Foundation’s (YCCF) Environmental Fund. The ceremony included a student-guided tour of the Codorus Creek beside the school as well as presentations by the students. CCSEP engaged local high school students through project and hands-on learning. The grant from YCCF increased students’ awareness of the importance of preserving the Codorus Watershed and exposed them to an array of careers in engineering and architecture.
FEEDBACK
“Very impressed with each of the students. They presented well and were true professionals. I look forward to see their continued growth.” – Community Cohort #1 Feedback
“It would be great to keep the student cohort and future cohorts and their families engaged in the projects, and leverage their engagement to other projects in the city. The York City Parks Conservancy might be an additional partner for future explorative projects.” – Community Cohort #2 Feedback
