A Summer of Discovery Begins at the Lancaster Science Factory!

The Crispus Attucks York Summer STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Enrichment Camp kicked off with an exciting and educational trip to the Lancaster Science Factory—a hands-on learning center where curiosity comes to life! 

Our young scholars, ranging from elementary to middle school, dove into a world of discovery as they explored over interactive exhibits in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. From building simple machines to experimenting with physics and energy, the experience offered a fun and engaging way to connect classroom concepts to real-world applications.

Campers worked in teams, asked brilliant questions, and sparked new ideas through playful exploration. The smiles and wide eyes said it all. It wasn’t just a field trip, it was an adventure in learning!

This visit is just the beginning of a summer packed with creativity, critical thinking, and community.
