KidsFit! at Crispus Attucks York: A Day of Fun, Fitness, and Family!

Crispus Attucks York was full of energy, excitement, and community spirit as families gathered for KidsFit!, powered by Latino Connection, a Color & Culture Catalyst. From 3 PM to 6 PM, our campus on South Duke Street came alive with laughter, games, and learning as children and parents enjoyed a full afternoon of health, wellness, and fun!

The event kicked off at 3:00 PM with open doors and a warm welcome, followed by welcoming remarks that set the tone for an afternoon focused on fitness and family engagement. Visitors explored vendor tables, discovered new resources, and enjoyed light refreshments and healthy snacks throughout the day.

The first round of friendly competitions began, sparking some lively enthusiasm among the kids! Later, participants got moving during the aerobics session, keeping the energy high and smiles wide. The excitement continued with a second competition, giving kids another chance to show their teamwork and spirit.

The day wrapped up with a highly anticipated raffle, where families had the chance to win amazing prizes — including a bike, a scooter, and wireless headphones! 🎁
