WHAT WE DO
Provides educational, nutritional, social, and recreational activities for seniors ages 60 and above
Helps youth ages 17 to 21 meet the academic requirements to receive a high school diploma while learning job skills
Renovates blighted and historical properties for affordable housing and local businesses
Provides childcare for children ages 3 months to 12 years with a strong emphasis on school-readiness preparation and education
Helps youth, adults and seniors acquire the skills needed to obtain and maintain employment
Provides after-school and summer educational, fitness, community service, and social activities for children ages 5 to 18 and their families
More than 70% of the children enrolled at CAA’s ELC are from families that live at or below 200% of poverty.
Students in our Rising STARS program face real barriers everyday due to their economic status; in 2016-17, 98.99% of the 298 youth served through the Rising STARS program lived with families at or below 200% of poverty.
