On Friday, October 3rd, 2025, the Crispus Attucks York Active Living Center transformed the CAY Gymnasium into a house of laughter and joy as we hosted our Comedy Fundraiser Showcase—and what an incredible night it was!
With a packed crowd, contagious energy, and a lineup that delivered non-stop laughs, this unforgettable evening proved that laughter truly is good for the soul—and the community!
🌟 Stellar Performances that Lit Up the Night
We were honored to welcome Grandma G as our hilarious headliner, who kept the audience rolling with her bold, no-holds-barred comedy. The night wouldn’t have been complete without The Broke Comedian, who not only brought the jokes but served as our energetic and engaging Master of Ceremonies. His quick wit and charisma kept the night flowing smoothly from start to finish.

All proceeds from the showcase go directly to supporting programming at the CAY Active Living Center, which serves as a vibrant hub for York’s older adults—providing meals, activities, wellness resources, and most importantly, community.
