A Community of We, Not I.”, reflects the heart of Crispus Attucks York — where collective effort continues to uplift children, families, seniors, veterans, and the greater York community. On May 2, 2026, Crispus Attucks York will proudly open the doors to a transformative new space — the Crispus Attucks York History & Culture Center (CAYHCC) — marking a historic milestone in the organization’s 95 years of service to the community. At 11:00 AM, community members, supporters, and partners will gather to celebrate the official Grand Opening of a center designed to preserve history, celebrate culture, and inspire future generations. As we continue to Give Rise to Possible in our community of York, PA!  A Vision Realized The CAYHCC represents years of planning, collaboration, and commitment to honoring the rich history of African Americans in York County. This state-of-the-art facility will serve as a educational hub, and community gathering space, offering meaningful experiences for visitors of all ages. From curated exhibits to cultural programming, the Center will provide opportunities for learning, reflection, and connection — ensuring that important stories are not only remembered but shared for generations to come.
