Responsibilities
- Provide Director with Administrative assistance
- Develop program activities to implement including classes, field trips, family events, fundraising activities, family events, workshops, summer activities, counseling, lectures, etc.
- Recruit young people as program participants.
- Supervise program activities
- Recruit suitable volunteers and role models to provide leadership for program activities.
- Assist with Maintaining database for program activities and participants.
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Commitment to the agency’s mission and goals.
- Experience in working with young people- minimum of 3 years
- Ability to work with a diverse population.
- Excellent management and organizational skills.
- High School /GED or Associate degree preferred
- Excellent writing ability.
- Computer literate: Familiar with computer operations
- Successful completion of an approved physical examination and T.B. test;
- Criminal Background Checks- FBI, Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- York, PA 17401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
